By providing an opportunity to connect and collaborate with industry peers, in-person events foster an open dialogue and spark new ideas. This is why we sponsored and attended 74 industry events and hosted 16 client-focused events in 2023. Through these occasions, we deepen our domain expertise, form long-standing relationships, and inspire our teams to build new features and functionality to support our clients.
Event Highlights
- Investment Adviser Association’s (IAA) Midwest Leadership Forum: SS&C Advent sponsored IAA’s annual Midwest Leadership Forum in Chicago in March. Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to meet with top executives and industry leaders. Al Castillo, our Vice President of Solutions Management, spoke on the panel titled "Greeting the AI Era: Implications for Leadership and Talent Management." During the session, attendees expressed a strong interest in implementing AI strategies despite few firms utilizing the technology. Firms said that privacy, security, and accuracy are among their top concerns when using AI. Despite these challenges, the opportunities for firms are growing as AI continues to transform our interaction with technology, and the interest in learning and implementing AI strategies remains strong. We are excited to announce that we will be sponsoring IAA's upcoming 2024 Investment Adviser Compliance Conference, in Washington, DC, from March 6-8, 2024.
- CLO Industry Conference: SS&C Advent had the pleasure of sponsoring Deal Catalyst’s Annual CLO Industry Conference, where we heard from top executives discussing the leveraged lending market. Additionally, Nicholas Nolan, Managing Director of Solutions Management at SS&C Advent, was a panelist on “Developments in Loan Technology and Data Strategies.” Focusing on the benefits of outsourcing middle and back-office operations, the panelists discussed how these services will enhance flexibility, scalability, and transparency in managing loans. We look forward to participating again at the 2024 Annual CLO Industry Conference in New York, New York, from April 29-30, 2024.
- SS&C Deliver: SS&C held its annual client conference on October 23rd and 24th in Austin, TX, offering an immersive and engaging experience. The event featured over 60 thought-provoking and educational sessions, and peer-to-peer roundtables on industry topics. More than 1,000 attendees were able to connect directly to solution experts and their peers. We left with our takeaways, to-do lists, and follow-ups, but most importantly, we left the city excited to embark on this journey with you. That is what SS&C Deliver is all about, and we cannot wait to welcome you to Louisiana in October 2024 – be sure to save the date!
